Congratulations Gemma - we're still getting great feedback on your presentation at this year's #csgnForum
We're delighted to have Gemma Kitson join our #Glasgow office as a Consultant #LandscapeArchitect. Welcome to the team!

So many fantastic exhibitors here today, just as well I’m on leave next week......between #activescot and the #csgnforum last week, I’ve got a fair bit of reading to do! 🙈 Common goals right there 🏻

@tiggerbabe16 @nlcpeople @scot_nature_boy @MartinValenti1 @CyclingScotland Hi Aileen, I will mention this to Mike who worked on the Wishaw Pump Track and led the site visit at the #csgnForum. He can put it on his list the next time he is reviewing potential projects with @nlcpeople and see where this lies within their overall priorities.
And the same theme ran through yesterday’s discussions at #csgnForum - transforming the small sites can have the biggest benefits for communities #notsoprettyvacant
After yesterdays most excellent #csgnForum we are back at the office today catching up and cleaning up... Looks like the birds have some competition for the @csgreennetwork bird feeder!

Visionary and uplifting speakers at today’s #CSGNforum: Matthew Frith @WildLondon; Sandra Albro from Cleveland, Ohio’s ‘Vacant to Vibrant’ project; the legendary Simon Rennie, speaking at his last CSGN Forum; Brian Evans, Glasgow City Urbanist (amongst other hats)...

Interesting discussion on #csgnForum workshop to Avenues project. Massive positive change already. Applications for cafes etc all good but will significantly reduce pedestrian space. Need to think about impact when much of this work about trying to improve #walkability @GlasgowCC

The value of good planning and design to ensure green spaces are connected and multifunctional being highlighted by @BrianMarkEvans at #csgnforum

Transformation underway at Easterhouses to revitalise greenspace and bring the benefits of nature into the heart of Glasgow. Can’t wait to see it in a year’s time! @GI_Scotland @scotgovESIF @nature_scot @Waketracker #csgnForum

Phew. That's the #CSGNforum closed. What a great insightful inspiring day. Thanks to all our speakers and attendees making it the great event it was...some interesting discussion to follow around the @csgreennetwork

#csgnforum success is "when young people hear about skip gardening from their peers" Gemma shares ideas from Skip Garden project around Kings Cross development in London, visited with @csgreennetwork 2018 Young Persons travel grant. Thanks Gemma

Inspiring day at the 9th #CSGNforum, key messages around the role of Land and the importance of place in terms of the quality of people's lives and the economy #greeninfrastructure #10kraingardens

Just leaving #csgnForum saw this from the bus, practically in the grounds of the conference venue😉 #notsoprettyvacant Great event which has got us all thinking 👌🏻💚

What would a national park city mean to you? Great question to the speaker panel #csgnforum @csgreennetwork @WildLondon @GlasgowNPC @LondonNPC #placebranding #placeprinciple

@scot_nature_boy @WildLondon Sounds fab! Loving the tweets from #csgnForum. I'm more than slightly disappointed not to be there!
Natural Capital assessment of the capital. £5bn a year. But it could be even better - some is green desert, so improve quality for people and nature. Greener Healthier Wilder @frithinwood #csgnForum

London, like other UK cities is on a route from gardens to car storage areas - depressing. Answer? Cities for people, cities for nature, cities ready for climate change and extreme weather events. Not cities for cars. #csgnForum
Great work Stefan Maurice & Gemma Kitson. Bringing back alternative ideas from London & North Europe cities to #csgnForum @csgreennetwork - Winners of 2018 young people travel grant initiative. #skipgarden #researchride @AoUYU @SustransScot @GlasgowCC

Mathew says nature has a purpose in the city. The case was made in the 1970s but have we embraced this properly? I'd say piecemeal. Worse than that, time is running out. We have to accelerate urban greenspace delivery. #csgnForum

Stefan's relationship with the Edinbugh Innocent Railway Path is familiar to a lot of #csgnForum delegates. An interest in local greenspace moving on to becoming a job and a passion. Fantastic presentation - great insight. We still have much to learn from our friends in Europe.
