@nettymess Just finished up a consultation where a student asked me to re-explain MeSH. After they understood, I asked them how they would explain it to another student. They said MeSH is like an Instagram hashtag and keywords are like the descriptions in the post 😀.
That's 3 emails I've written to students this morning, attempting to explain the intricacies and oddities of bibliographic database searching. Does it really have to be that complicated? Why can't they all use the same search operators and wildcards? #DatabaseSearching #Confused
