🚨 There was a robbery at Western Sales in #DavidsonSk! Well... not really. But that's what someone thought when RCMP officers responded to a report of suspicious activity at the dealership just after midnight early Wednesday morning. Here's what actually happened: Around 9:00, Tuesday night, a customer's combine suffered a breakdown when a cleaning shoe failed. The parts weren't available in #BiggarSk at the time, so on-call Parts Specialist, Ross hit the road to Davidson for a late-night parts run to help keep the customer rolling the next day. The Davidson team had locked up for the night when Ross arrived just before midnight, but arrangements had been made for him to access the parts and use a forklift to load them onto his trailer. A lone truck, a forklift moving equipment around late at night and a dark dealership yard must've looked suspicious to someone nearby because before long, RCMP cruisers were rolling down the highway with lights and sirens on! 🚓 The Mounties contacted the Davidson team, and when Tony arrived, security footage quickly confirmed there was no robbery in progress. Just a dedicated parts specialist on an after-hours mission. Ross, who was blissfully unaware that he was potentially a wanted criminal, returned to Biggar with the parts the service tech required to get to work on the combine first thing the next morning, and happily went to bed. The good news? The combine got the part it needed to get back in the field. The bad news? Ross may need to start notifying local law enforcement when he goes on midnight parts runs. Just another harvest reminder that our team will go the distance (at all hours of the night), to help keep farmers in the field when every hour counts. 🌾🚜 #Harvest2026 #WesternSales #SaskAg #JohnDeere #partsrun
