A lonely gravedigger who stinks of corpses finally meets her dream man. When he tragically drowns at sea, she goes to morbid lengths to resurrect him.
From Sundance to Rotterdam to TIFF, Grace Glowicki's gothic comedy became one of the year's great midnight movies. It was shot on 16mm on handmade sets, with a cast of four playing a dozen roles. Think British pantomime crossed with German Expressionism, then doused in DayGlo splatter.
It comes with a slipcover designed by Charlie Hyman and the Stink-O-Vision cut of the film with a scratch-and-sniff card so you can smell along right at home. Be warned, the smells are pungent.
The Standard Edition is the regular cut, with no Stink-O-Vision and no card.
