In looking at archives: having mug shots under the subject heading "criminals" is NAGL. Just because they have a mug shot doesn't mean they did anything criminal, especially when it comes to mug shots of BIPOC. #DecolonizingArchives

@ArsipNasionalRI @gahetNA @DutchCulture That is the postcolonial archival predicament. To start to decolonize archives is to make relevant Dutch archives fully accessible to Indonesians. I am sure this is all in the new MoU between @ArsipNasionalRI and @gahetna #decolonizingarchives
