For over 6 decades, the PCC has justified and carried out severe #humanrights violations, including political persecution, imprisonments, censorship, and acts of repudiation.
They were not elected in free elections; their imposition on Cuba is undeniable.
In the later part of the 1950s, the PCC's predecessors, the Popular Socialist Party, were a minority and widely rejected by university students and, importantly, by revolutionaries in the 1950s.
