We are excited to be among the very first groups selected by @NVIDIARobotics to test the new @NVIDIA #Thor. We have managed to run a #VisionLanguageModel (Qwen 2.5 VL) for semantic understanding of the environment, along with a monocular depth model (#DepthAnything v2), for safe autonomous navigation, all onboard. No cloud, no internet connection required! The video shows a simple result obtained in just two weeks of work.

Playing around with #GenAI to 2D-to-3D with #Rendepth. First shot is color generated with @midjourney, using #DepthAnything to get a depthmap, and then my software produces left/right #Stereo3D views. Red/cyan #Anaglyph and LRL free-view #3D shots included.
Just realized all this depth map generation code could be used to create materials. Made a quick brick texture in @midjourney, estimated depth with #DepthAnything, used @GIMP_Official to generate a normal map, then imported that all into #Blender3D. 30 minutes total.

یه تکنولوژی فوق العاده ای که تیک تاک منتشر کرده موضوع #DepthAnything هست. حالا وظیفه Depth Anything چی هست؟ در واقع این سیستم وظیفه پیش بینی برآورد فاصله بین پیکسل ها رو در هر تصویر داره و میتونه عمق تصاویر و اصله اشیا در تصاویر ( دور و نزدیک ) رو محاسبه کنه و یه بازسازی تصویر به صورت سه بعدی بوجود بیاره.

این موضوع طی یک تا سه سال آینده یه تحول عجیبی رو در حوزه VR/AR میتونه ایجاد کنه به شکلی که دیگه امکان تشخیص واقعیت از غیر واقعیت سخت تر میشه. بنظرم هر موقع این تکنولوژی اضافه شد به هدست های واقعیت مجازی اونوقت میشه گفت ارزش خرید و امتحان کردن دارن و گرنه الان یه ال سی دی بیشتر نیستن.
