#lymeMind conference- not a word was spoken about how the #CDC has seem to it no #lyme test has ever made it through #FDA approval of how the #lymeX #diagnosticsChallenge tests will be validated. Using the CDC’s acute only 71% false negatives #lymeDisease test & serum?

@Lyme_X #lymeX has ignored patients for a year when they ask How will the new #lymeDisease tests in the #DiagnosticsChallenge be validated? Will LymeX use the #CDC’s ACUTE-only (weeks 4-6) & 71% false negatives #lyme test or CDC’s lyme serum (not from the sickest, from CDC-positives)? 4/

It’s been how many months and @lyme_x won’t tell us how their #lymeDisease #diagnosticsChallenge will validate #lyme tests. #CDC test or serum will falsely show they have too many false positives. Those were made to not detect lyme- for 1st #vaccine trials.

@cohengive @Lyme_X @HHSGov Will these tests have to prove they work based on their being tested with serum from the #CDC’s #lymeDisease serum repository? If so, when they actually determine #lyme is present it will appear there are many false positives when that’s not the case. CDC=untrustworthy. @khoney

A HUGE problem with the #lymeX #diagnosticsChallenge is the new tests will be measured against the CDC false negatives test or the CDC #lyme serum that is only from people that don’t get that sick from #lymeDisease. Trusting CDC to control replacing their Lyme serum a Good idea?
