Decoding Kula, Ishta, & Gram #Dieties
Where you were born is the Kula Devta that protects your lineage (which means kul your family branch). It is the primary deity who provides the strongest protection to the native family, known as the Kula deity. The kshetrapal deity, often represented by Lord Shiva or Bhairava, or the form of Lord Shiva, is responsible for protecting a specific land or area and acting as its guardian deity to the particular area. To ensure protection and prosperity in that area, one must obtain blessings and permission, visit the temple, and make local offerings whenever you start something new or begin a new journey of life.
The Ishta devta, the most significant diety, focusses solely on the native's personal and spiritual assessment. It is believed to provide guidance throughout a person's entire life when they encounter various life challenges. It has a special connection with the native soul, love, and emotions. This deity primarily establishes a personal connection with the worshipper's soul, which one can identify through a soul connection between the diety and the native. Finding this connection can be challenging, but once the native aligns with the diety, it offers guidance, protection, and blessings for all their life decisions.
