Here are some points we have raised:
- The president of the country needs to be elected directly by the people.
- The president of the country cannot be the president of a party or serve on its leadership structures
- Cease government funding to political parties.
- Replace the first-past-the-post voting system with a ranked or approval voting system instead.
- Equal airtime and media coverage for all contesting parties during election years.
- Create a mechanism that allows voters to vote OUT poor performing candidates
- Only independents can contest elections. Parties get no more formal recognition by government and are not on ballot papers.
