I together with the other members of the @DSOEntity_eu Expert Group #DistributedFlexibility appreciate the interest and guidance from the Board - in particular @rgaraude @LuisValeCunha - in view of the upcoming development of the #NetworkCode. Today was extremely encouraging.
Great webinar by @EMPower_energy. #DSO and Service Providers represented by @smartEnEU say everybody along the value chain must benefit for #DistributedFlexibility to be realized. This should also be reflected in the stakeholder contributions to the #NetworkCode drafting.

At #En4Cit for @EDSO_eu made clear that #submeters can contribute to mobilizing flexibility especially in Member States with only few #smartmeters. But system stability requires close coordination with #DSO. Submeters are not the silver bullet to mobilize #DistributedFlexibility.
At #En4Cit impressive presentation by @MikVilla86 about short-term measures from #SGTF #EG3 to mobilize #DistributedFlexibility. But: Local Flexibility Markets must in medium-term still be established by #NetworkCode to allocate flex efficiently.

Mark van Stiphout from @Energy4Europe at #iGrid2022 making clear that results from @BRIDGE_H2020 are vital contributions to the new #NetworkCode #DistributedFlexibility. Encouraging that stakeholders including @eu_acer are valuing #DSO R&D so highly.
Encouraging to see @Energy4Europe committed to a new #NetworkCode on #DistributedFlexibility as also clearly stated in their letter from June 1 to @eu_acer initiating the process. @DSOEntity_eu is ready to contribute to this key initiative mobilizing the flexibility potential.
