Class 9, enjoyed the start of their electrical scarecrow project today. The children designed their own scarecrows,using different electrical components, to scare away birds. They have a challenge to incorporate at least one bulb, a buzzer, a motor and a switch. #DringScience
UKS2 have been experimenting making different electrical circuits involving switches, buzzers and motors this week as well as learning how to draw circuit diagrams. #DringScience
UKS2 reached the end of their light study in Science by producing their very own periscopes! #DringScience
Class 9 investigated which shape of bird feet is best for swimming. We used different birds feet and pulled them through water to investigate. We then used secondary sources to research how different birds feet help them to survive. #DringScience
Class 6 (Y3) learnt all about the water cycle today. We made our own mini water cycle in a bag and are going to watch the process happen over the next few days. #DringScience

Class 9 enjoyed making the different components of blood today in our science lesson. We made red blood cells, plasma, white blood cells and platelets and tried to get the correct amount of each. #DringScience
