A: No — They are based on vehicle specifications as per qualified automobile engineers.
2. Should you ignore the warnings in vehicle owner manuals?
A: No. That could lead to damage which may not even be covered by warranty. Even if someone repairs such damage free of cost, you will face the headache of having to be without your vehicle while repairs happen, your time and energy will be diverted, not to forget anxiety etc.
3. Should you exceed the #ethanol blend specified in your vehicle owner manual? (attached)
A: No. If your vehicle manual says you can use upto 20% ethanol blend, use any blend from E0 through E10 to #E20, but stop there. Don't, for example, use E30 or E85 or E100.
Similarly, if your vehicle manual says you can use upto 10% ethanol blend, use E0 to E10, BUT NOT E20.
In short,
⛽ E20 ko E20, E10 ko E10.
(And so on.)
Such sensible use of #ethanol & #E20 is welcome.
What is NOT welcome is forcing non E20 vehicles to run on E20. That's undermining vehicle specifications and setting up for failure.

At 170Rs. per litre you may find it expensive but the benefits outnumber all other cons of using expensive Petrol.
Try Xp100 once to feel the difference of #e20 v/s #E0 in your car and ask government why they are so reluctant to provide #e0/#e10 petrol option to customers...
