I wonder if I bug people or get on their nerves asking them to donate a tweet saying - Every Child Leaving Care Matters #ECLCM? 20k followers but struggle to get 50 or 100 people to help us raise awareness for OUR children in care and leaving care. RT if you see this? Thank you.

Even crazier now the argument can be backed up by #neuroscience Questioning the whole notion of what #adulthood even means. Not to mention the impact of #trauma on development.. #LAC #ECICM #lookedafterchildren #caresystem #sociacare #children #youngpeople #teenagebrain

OUR children in care deserve good options of care. They need stability, security, LOVE, support, positive relationships & positive role models. I think ALL children regardless of where they live should have a choice including #StayingPut #CaringTeams @ResCareTo21 because #ECLCM

Through my research, I'm meeting some truly inspirational professionals and foster carers who go above and beyond to help the young people in their care. I'm so fortunate that my research enables me to see this in practice #phd #phdlife #ecicm

I find the phrase #corporateparent really troubling. The 'state' is an 'impersonal entity' (Bullock et al., 2006) which can never be a satisfactory substitute for young people who deserve a 'parent(s)' who provides safety, security, and love #eclcm #ecicm #corporateparent
