While I am glad that London police have charged a suspect, antisemitic and racist graffiti is yet another example of the hate that is spreading in our communities. Telling Jews to “go back to the camps” - like telling them to “go back to Poland” as heard in our streets, schools and online - is tantamount to wishing death upon the Jews. It is also critical to name the anti-Jewish and anti-Black racism apparent here in order to properly fight it with law enforcement and education.

1 in 3 🇨🇦 youth believe the Holocaust was fabricated or exaggerated. We will not be bystanders as denialism & hate is normalized. To ensure we learn from history, Ontario is expanding Holocaust education in grade 10 - strengthening democratic values & civic education. 🔗: https://t.co/Hlbd544tRB
