This is the show that got me my first rep, meetings, and WORK.
Still unsold (😭), but I’ve always believed @hbomax is the right home for #ELLAY… both creatively and for audience.
That said, I’m open.
The timing, and the cultural moment, feel undeniable for EL LAY.

This is #ElLay, the show that made the Blacklist rankings and was a finalist for several other Fellowships. It also was one of the reasons I secured my first manager and started making the rounds with generals (I set up myself). As it's known to be my trademark, a lot of research and interviews were conducted to build the world and develop the characters.
Unfortunately, as good as this show is (and I KNOW it is), it hasn't been picked up.

7 years ago, I was top 25/Finalist for the @WomenInFilm / The Blacklist Episodic Lab. An early reader called #ellay a multicultural “girls” based in #losangeles. This script got me my first manager and several meetings.
But, this show, as good as it is, hasn't been made

@kinky_horror LA MUTANTS! I think we need to plan how we're gonna approach that all-night marathon! #MutantMeetupLA #ElLay
I’ve never participated in #FirstPageFriday, but I thought I would share the teaser for #ellay. This pilot went around town and secured me my first manager and an 8 on the Blacklist - but, ZERO fellowships.
Would I rewrite it now? Absolutely. #screenwriting
When your acupuncturist changes location and is now next door to one of my favorite places in #ellay, guess what's for dinner?

I can plan a mini-celebration because I write things that I’m passionate about… that are also part of the zeitgeist.
Since I prefer living a non dramatic life, I’m going for option two and dusting off my #ellay pilot.
I’m finally watching a two year old show… and it’s very close in feel and characters as my #ellay script that I wrote in 2017/2018. Literally, the second scene is the same as in my script. I can either build faux outrage because someone got something made instead of me, or… 1
