P1 investigated more about Materials in Science today, predicting and then testing which one would be strongest for the 3 Little Pigs’ House. We discussed fair testing and then had fun trying to blow and fan our straw, stick and brick walls down. 🏠🐷#ErcStem

P1 were classifying materials in Science this morning, sorting them into ‘soft’ and ‘hard’, before discussing why some materials are better for certain purposes. They decided that glass was too hard and breakable for Cinderella’s slipper in the fairytale! #ERCstem

Primary 4 have been making snowball runs this morning, using our planning skills, problem solving skills, fine motor skills, engineering skills, and our communication skills! We also tested our designs and improved them when we spotted a problem! #ERCSTEM @ERC_STEM

P2c and P2d had our STEM leaders visit this afternoon. They showed us how to use the BeeBots and we used them to learn about directions. We made them move forward, left and right to find sounds and shapes. We had a great time! #OLMSTEM #ERCSTEM @DigiSchoolsERC
