Our day at @ethconf 2026 reflected where the industry is headed.
Conversations weren't about whether institutional adoption is coming: they were about execution.
Meetings with founders, investors, infrastructure providers, and enterprise leaders all pointed to the same trend: digital assets and onchain finance are becoming part of the financial mainstream.
What stood out most was the quality of the dialogue. Less hype, more deployment. Less speculation, more infrastructure.
The focus has shifted to building scalable, institutional-grade products that solve real-world problems.

Premier interview avec un représentant politique de ma vie et c'était avec @davidlisnard, maire de Cannes, sur la crypto 😅
Pour le contexte : pendant l'EthCC qui se tenait à Cannes, j'ai pu lui poser des questions pour @krakenfx_FR sur sa vision de la crypto, pourquoi Cannes est l'une des premières villes en France à avoir formé ses commerçants aux paiements crypto (600 commerçants formés quand même), et son point de vue sur le cadre réglementaire actuel.
En vrai je m'attendais pas à ce qu'il soit aussi ouvert et intéressé au sujet.
Quelques trucs qu'il a dit qui m'ont marquée :
→ "C'est pas un effet de mode la crypto, c'est un phénomène profond"
→ "Il vaut mieux maîtriser ces phénomènes que les subir"
→ "Il y a un génie français qui s'exprime dans le monde de la blockchain"
→ "Le rôle de la puissance publique n'est pas de dire aux gens quoi faire, mais de permettre aux gens de faire ce qu'ils ont envie de faire tant que ça respecte les autres"
Et un truc fou : à Cannes, le panier moyen des paiements en crypto est 30% supérieur aux paiements classiques chez les commerçants 👀
Je prends pas position politique, je précise. Mais le voir parler fiscalité (flat tax à 10% comme l'Allemagne), minage français avec notre nucléaire, sécurité des entrepreneurs crypto… c'était vraiment intéressant à entendre de la part d'un maire, candidat à la présidentielle.
Cette interview était une vraie opportunité humaine pour moi, donc merci à @krakenfx_FR et aux équipes de @davidlisnard de m'avoir embarquée là-dedans 🫡

What a week at #EthCC in Cannes.
We brought together an incredible group of builders, researchers & ecosystem leaders for our Infinite Privacy event and one thing was clear:
blockchain is growing up, institutions are here to stay, and privacy is a core enabler.
Fixed-rate lending has long been one of DeFi’s biggest missing pieces.
Morpho is closing that gap. Co-founder Merlin Egalité announced at #EthCC a new infrastructure layer that lets lenders post intent-based fixed-rate offers with defined tenors, counterparty rules, and risk parameters - moving beyond the one-size-fits-all utilization curve.
This could unlock serious institutional capital. @Morpho @MerlinEgalite
We caught up with Tanya Tkachenko, Head of Marketing at @transactacom during #EthCC in Paris.
She said: “The problem with crypto was never the tech. It was trust.
The most important signal we are seeing right now is institutional adoption.
We're going to see more companies, more people, big players turning into crypto, blockchain - and that's going to definitely change consumer behavior."

It was great discussing staking solutions at #EthCC last week with the Security team @Figment_io. It sounds natural for secure staking solutions to help protect the accountable @RedbellyNetwork node operators.
Trust the model” is the current UX of AI.
And that’s the flaw.
You don’t know:
→ what data was accessed
→ how the output was computed
→ whether it was altered in execution
That’s a black box.
At #EthCC, Jake Salerno reframed it:
The future isn’t better trust,
it’s removing the need for trust entirely.
→ TEE-based execution environments
→ Verifiable on-chain logs
→ Cryptographic guarantees of output integrity
@0G_labs is building toward that model:
AI systems where every interaction can be proven, not assumed.
Because when agents start executing real tasks,
verification isn’t optional infrastructure, it’s survival.
Every AI interaction today is built on a silent assumption:
Trust the provider.
They see your prompts.
They process your data.
You get an output, with zero proof of how it was generated.
At #EthCC, the shift was framed clearly:
Trust me → opaque systems
Verify it → provable systems
Jake Salerno broke it down to what actually changes:
→ TEE enclaves for secure, isolated execution
→ On-chain receipts for transparent audit trails
→ Cryptographic proofs for verifiable outputs
@0G_labs is embedding this directly into the stack,
not as an add-on, but as a default layer.
Because once AI agents start acting autonomously,
“just trust it” stops being acceptable.
Verification becomes the baseline.
At #EthCC in Cannes, we brought back our traditional Crypto Outdoor Workout for another community-led session, and it was exactly the kind of morning we hoped for.
