Take note ~ Pam Bondi, Kash Patel, Pete Hegseth, kristi noem, Tulsi Gabbard, Tom Homan and others in Trump's administration. Just following orders don't give you evil fucks a pass. That phrase: “just following orders” is famously associated with many of Hitler’s henchmen and other Nazi officials during and after World War II. They used it as a defense during the Nuremberg Trials and other war crimes investigations, claiming they were not personally responsible because they were simply obeying orders from higher authorities. However, this defense was largely rejected. The Nuremberg Trials established the principle that “following orders” is not a sufficient excuse for committing war crimes or crimes against humanity. Individuals are responsible for their actions.
