The #RSF is running what only be called a concentration camp in El #Fasher. Executions based on ethnicity are reported; health conditions for some 2,400 persons—including 800 women and children—being detained are horrific and have reached a “breaking point”; a #cholera outbreak is devastating…

There are predictably a great many people, young and old, who have disabilities in #Darfur; many of these are the result of #Janjaweed/#RSF violence against civilians. The behavior of the RSF in El #Fasher, as chronicled by #HRW, gives us another view into the savagely cruel minds of these génocidaires.
Project Zamzam—now operating in Tina/Tiné on the Chad Darfur border—has long given devoted particular care to this population [ https://t.co/XVhLfdKIWY ], so RSF actions appear to us as unspeakably heinous.

@FormulaRauda Isn't this the same girl who was laughing happily at the "El-#Fasher" massacre, saying: "Good morning, Sudanese people!" Which Professor @andreas_krieg said about her "thoughts":

Fuerzas de Apoyo Rápido cometieron campaña genocida contra comunidades no árabes en El Fasher, Sudan: ONU-DH
Darren García (@Darren_Contra)
Las Fuerzas de Apoyo Rápido, grupo paramilitar sudanés, cometieron actos genocidas contra comunidades no árabes en El #Fasher durante la toma del territorio a finales de octubre de 2025, alertó una Comisión Independiente de la #ONU

No one can possibly be surprised at the conclusion by the UN fact-finding commission: the #RSF was guilty of #genocide during its overrunning of El #Fasher (Oct. 2025). But what we must ask still is why this clearly impending and massive crime did not elicit from the international community a response of any meaningful sort. This in turn forces the question: why has the UAE’s complicity in this genocide remained unspoken?
The UAE is not mentioned once in the UN report, even though the UAE and the Emirati leadership had long provided the military equipment that enabled the siege and eventual capture of the city. The Report notes only the “use of sophisticated jamming equipment by the Rapid Support Forces” (§41); but analysis and reports from the Yale Humanitarian Research Lab made clear other advanced and sophisticated military equipment had been provided by the UAE, including long-range Chinese-manufactured AH4 Howitzers (the UAE is the only country known to have imported these specific howitzers from China). “Stand-off” barrages from this mobile weapon were key in sustaining the siege, as was the advanced anti-aircraft weaponry that both protected the RSF forces and prevented nearly all humanitarian airlifts.
The UN Report makes clear that far from considering their assault on El Fasher a “genocide,” RSF leaders celebrated it as “a ‘major and historic military victory,’ praising their forces for ‘liberating’ the city from the ‘terrorist Islamic army.’” (Unsurprisingly, “Islamism” is a primary target of UAE hostility.)
In short, the genocide is far from over; and UAE complicity in this genocidal campaign seems destined to escape meaningful censure, or even acknowledgement.
From the Report:
§105. On the day of the takeover of El-Fasher, the Rapid Support Forces leaders publicly claimed and celebrated the operation. Deputy Commander Lt. Gen. Abdel Rahim Dagalo and spokesperson Lt. Col. Al-Fatih Al-Qurashi described it as a “major and historic military victory,” praising their forces for “liberating” the city from the “terrorist Islamic army.” He threatened opponents with the same fate as “the terrorists”, 37 framing the assault as part of a broader campaign extending to Port Sudan and beyond.

@sultanwho These are childish and failed attempts to divert attention from the crimes supported by the UAE in Sudan, Yemen, Libya... Just have a look at the massacre in El #Fasher which made by militias which Supported by UAE policy and the world is witnessing!
Stop Support Militias!
What does/would #RSF governance in #Sudan look like? East Darfur provides one example; we also have the recent example of El #Fasher. Moreover, many locations freed from RSF control typically celebrate their liberation ecstatically. In #Darfur, El #Geneina, #Nyala, #Zalingei are also revealing of just how the RSF would respond to the needs and welfare of civilians, particularly those who are non-Arab.

Even exorbitant funding by #UAE was not enough to motivate the #RSF in an effort to conceal their Oct. 2025 slaughter in El #Fasher. Today’s #Reuters dispatch, reporting on the first UN mission to the city, makes clear the massive evidence of genocidal destruction/displacement:
EXCERPTS
• “[UN team] found the city largely deserted”
• “More than 100,000 are estimated to have fled al-Fashir since late October after the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces took control there following an 18-month siege that plunged the city into famine.”
[estimates of the pre-onslaught population of El Fasher ranged from 250,000 – 300,000—ER]
• “Survivors reported ethnically-motivated mass killings and widespread detentions during and after the takeover.”
• “Denise Brown, the U.N. Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator for Sudan, described al-Fashir as a ‘crime scene’; ‘the town was not teeming with people. There were very few people that (they) were able to see.”
• “U.N. requirements of safe passage and free movement took weeks to negotiate, despite [NB] #RSF attempts to portray the city as back to normal soon after its takeover.”
• “The] Saudi Hospital, which the World Health Organization says was the site of a massacre of 460 people…”

We have seen the genocidal nature of the #RSF slaughter of more than 50,000 non-Arab civilians in El #Fasher—and the displacement of many tens of thousands of others.
Now the RSF is moving west, toward the #Chad border with #Darfur—and #Tina is now squarely in its sites. #Tina (and its counterpart Tiné, just over the border) is only 50 kilometers from the next likely RSF target in Dar #Zaghawa (Kernoi/Kornoi)
[ See https://t.co/vPGeTBBxYY]
Hundreds of thousands of displaced civilians have passed through Tina/Tiné—or are headed to the area—or are surviving there now, despite a woefully inadequate humanitarian response.
What will it take for the international community to commit to halting ongoing genocidal destruction in Darfur? El #Fasher, #Zamzam IDP camp, El #Geneina, #Nyala, and countless other locations in Darfur have been the targeted by the RSF over the past 13 years (the RSF was created by former President/“Field Marshal” al-#Bashir in 2013: see https://t.co/X3PKC4WVBi).
The RSF continue to be supplied by the #UAE with highly advanced military technology, including high-tech howitzers, sophisticated drones, jamming equipment (to reduce the effectiveness of the #SAF air force), transport and attack vehicles, and endless ammunition re-supply for all of these. They provide funds for a social media/public relations campaign; the provide salaries for militia commanders, even as all fighters are given complete freedom to steal, engage in kidnapping for pay, and asset stripping at countless road checkpoints.
The UAE has intimidated the international community—including the #Trump admin (which claims “it alone can bring peace to Sudan”), #Canada, the #EU, and many other countries of the “global north.” None will call out the UAE. The power of #Emirati bribery, economic threats, and regional leverage (especially with Israel) has been used ruthlessly and all too effectively.
If Tina becomes another El Fasher, it will not be because we weren’t warned—it will be because we chose not to stop it.

#RSF military seizure of Um Baru & Abu Gamra puts the militia within 100 km of Tina (Darfur) & Tiné (Chad). Hundreds of thousands of displaced civilians have passed through Tina/Tiné, are headed to the area, or are surviving there now, despite woefully inadequate humanitarian response.
The effort is almost certainly, as one Sudan Tribune source from the Joint Forces indicates, “to control remote areas bordering Chad to secure a new supply line via the Tine crossing."
Despite RSF claims that this military push is all for the purpose of civilian protection—an utterly preposterous claim, given RSF actions in El Fasher, El #Geneina, and scores of other villages, towns, and cities in Sudan—it puts at acute risk all those on both sides of the Darfur/Chad, Tina/Tiné border, as well as the humanitarian relief efforts they so desperately need.
The fall of El Fasher in October gives us all too clear a picture of what lies in store for this part of Dar #Zaghawa at the hands of the RSF.

Compelling reports indicate the #RSF will soon extend their assault in North #Darfur from El #Fasher to the west, attacking towns in Dar #Zaghawa such as #Kernoi, Um Baru, #Tina. This has already sent people fleeing to #Chad and further threatens a deeply inadequate humanitarian response.
The RSF has already attacked these three towns with drones, forcing Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (#MSF) to withdraw its critical medical services.
The #famine declared by the UN in August 2024 only deepens, and yet the #WFP seems helpless: “The WFP said food assistance for Sudanese communities already facing famine will be cut to 70 percent, while those at risk of famine will receive just half rations. ‘We will be having to reduce from January to 70 percent rations for communities that are facing famine, and 50 percent for those that are at risk of famine, Ross Smith, WFP director of emergency preparedness and response, told reporters in Geneva via video link from Rome.
Smith warned that the situation will worsen rapidly if funding does not improve. AS OF APRIL WE WILL FALL OFF A CLIFF WHEN IT COMES TO FUNDING.’” he said.” https://t.co/gZNXMH58I2
But it is humanitarian access as much as humanitarian capacity that is critical: violence, especially by the RSF, directed at humanitarians and their resources, makes far, far too many places simply impossible to reach.
So long as the RSF continues to be so fully supported militarily by the UAE, there will be no end to the fighting and civilian suffering and casualties will continue to rise obscenely.

Update from Project #Zamzam, mid-November through mid-December 2025
Responding to an increasingly desperate humanitarian crisis in #Darfur
A month ago, in the wake of the fall of El #Fasher, the International Organization for Migration put the matter bluntly:
“Despite the rising need, humanitarian operations are now on the brink of collapse. Warehouses are nearly empty, aid convoys face significant insecurity, and access restrictions continue to prevent the delivery of sufficient aid. #IOM is urgently appealing for increased funding and immediate, sustained and safe humanitarian access to avert an even greater catastrophe.” (November 11, 2025)
Team Zamzam is doing all it can, but needs additional support if it is to sustain these efforts. Please help at https://t.co/5AMf88JBUl

This ends any possible debate about whether the #RSF seizure of El #Fasher was genocidal in nature--and ultimate responsibility lies with the #UAE for militarily enabling the RSF.

#boycottUAE

Unfortunately, there are ethnic massacres, especially in the city of #El #Fasher, and it is a very serious humanitarian crisis. If the United Arab Emirates is going to do the world a favor, they should stop supplying weapons to the RSF group in Sudan... They buy weapons from China and deliver them to the RSF, which then carries out ethnic massacres against civilians in the region... All of these bombings were carried out by the RSF, and the sponsor is the United Arab Emirates.

🚫 #Rumor
Facebook accounts circulated videos claiming to show #UAE relief organisations distributing money to Sudanese citizens in El-#Fasher following the Rapid Support Forces’ takeover.
✅ #Truth
These claims are completely false, and the videos are misleading. The video, previously shared on a TikTok account, actually shows aid being distributed by a #Turkish relief organisation.
