🇨🇿#FFF24: At the Future Forces Forum 2024 (@ForcesForum) in Prague, the Czech company Dajbych showed its off-road ambulance based on the new facelifted extended chassis of the Toyota Land Cruiser 79. The built-in medical superstructure is of sandwich design made of 40 mm thick insulated panels with rear double doors and a nose section at the top front that extends above the driver's cab. The superstructure has space for a seat for a paramedic and his equipment, three seated patients or two lying patients. The facelift version of the LC79 offers a 4.0-litre Euro VI atmospheric six-cylinder engine with 167kW, or a new 2.8-litre turbocharged four-cylinder diesel with 150kW at 3,400rpm. A six-speed Aisin automatic transmission is also newly offered.

Meet Hector. Hector is a Toyota Land Cruiser 79 pickup equipped with the Spanish Guardian 1.5 S RCWS from Escribano with a 12.7mm M2 Browning machine gun. The weapon station has a powerful electro-optical system capable of detecting targets at long ranges. The optical sensor block, uncooled camera, and control system ensure excellent visibility even in challenging conditions. In the hull under the weapon station there is space for spare barrels, ammunition, spare parts or crew equipment. The vehicle has two crew members - the driver and the weapon station operator, who is located in the passenger seat.
