They applied in 2009, 2012 & 2014. The 3rd application was rejected after 7 years. No reason given.

@fahmi_fadzil voted for you in the last two elections. You're my MP. I urge you to send the bill to PSC to strengthen it. Protect the Orang Asli/ Asal PR status and push back on the amendment for the mothers x being retroactive. Too many ppl are falling through the cracks.

Strategically, our recommendations are not to throw the baby out with bathwater - send it to PSC and strengthen the bill to ensure protection of Orang Asli/Asal with PR status & their children.

KDN: Permanent Residence (PR) CANNOT pass on citizenship

Our proposal:

1. PRs born in Malaysia (stateless, Orang Asli, etc) can automatically pass on citizenship to their children

2. PRs born overseas (foreigners) cannot pass on citizenship to their children
