When I was in Transylvania five years ago, we stayed at the amazing Hotel Castle Dracula, located close to the Borgo Pass in arguably the “right” spot for #Dracula’s castle in Stoker’s novel. COVID closed it down, though, and today it is abandoned. 😢 #findingdracula

If you wish to visit Bram Stoker’s remains at the Golders Green Crematorium, don’t bother. The staff is rude and unaccommodating. They won’t take ten minutes to show you the urn unless you have an appointment, claiming they are just “too busy.” 0/5 stars. NOT #findingdracula

Gill Davies identifies another #Dracula house as one on Mile End Road in Whitechapel (thus associating the #vampire with Jack the Ripper). Using the Literary London Society’s maps, I decided this house was THE VERY ONE featured in Stoker’s novel. #findingdracula
Today we tried to find the location of three of #Dracula’s houses in London. According to Gill Davies, of the Literary London Society, the Master #Vampire’s house on Piccadilly is currently the Hard Rock Cafe gift shop. #findingdracula
