Happiness is brought to you from King William Courthouse. We found this in a Shovel Test Pit on the Hill Hotel Site. Anyone seen one like this before? Would love to learn more about this. #fiveoclockfinds #publicarch #publicarchaeology #historicpreservation

#fiveoclockfinds #fairfieldfridays Has anyone seen something like this Copper-alloy object before? We’re thinking horse related, which we know seems pretty obvious. The reverse appears to have attachments like upholstery tacks (but bigger).

Please refrain from jokes. This is a small but fascinating and important part of our cultural landscape and worthy of our documenting it...we just want to contextualize it appropriately. #fiveoclockfinds

Thursday’s mystery find: a small copper alloy rod/pin with a mother-of-pearl disc. Any ideas out there? We found it just outside the house. #mysteryobject #fiveoclockfinds @VisitMenokin
