@smccarthynire @BelTel Be careful with the numbers, Stephen. You’re unwittingly playing into a false narrative that could well end up costing consumers more at #Fleadh27.

@HughAdams18 I’ve written to @StatsRegulation about Fleadhggeration as if inflated attendance figures go unchallenged, vendors could be charged more for pitches based on supposedly higher footfall. Vendors then have to recover those costs, which means consumers ultimately pay more.

I’ve already spoken to a unionist councillor, and tonight I’m drafting a Freedom of Information request. My aim for #Fleadh27 is simple - keep as much of the money as possible in Greater Belfast, then across Northern Ireland. I might even let the border counties have a turn😉

Irish Nationalist and republican businesspeople who fear reprisals within their own community for questioning Irish nationalist shibboleths are left relying on a loyalist from Tigers Bay to ask the difficult questions. PS: Like him, these questions aren’t going away you know.

Next year, I hope to see a joint Irish Defence Forces and British Armed Forces village at #Fleadh27

Next year there'll be sessions in bars learning loyalist tunes, getting musicians from all over Ireland to learn the great loyalist tunes, play them and sing them. It's going to be brilliant at #Fleadh27

@belfastbhoy1961 God love your wit the fleadh was a success but your seriously deluded if you think that will bring a united ireland if anything it shows that when sf/ira haven’t got their mucky paws all over it we can get along fine in Northern Ireland.

As #Fleadh26 winds down and we count down the days to #Fleadh27 in Belfast again, journalists and member groups like @fsbni need to examine the impact on businesses OUTSIDE the city centre. One popular takeaway told me takings were 30% 📉as its local based regulars were in town.
