@WalkerAmerica Braindead take.
Network is being choked out by spam and BIP110 is the only actual shield.
Core is widely proven to be corrupted and clapping for a fake red team audit is just coping with a broken system.
You are worse than Core clowns.

@coinjoined 10k followers. 10 hours. 110 lousy likes.
Embarrassing metrics for an embarrassing take.
If youโre going to try this hard to engagement-farm at least learn how to grow a crop.

Nobody voted for this.
The OP_RETURN data limit sat at 83 bytes for years. That is 80 bytes of data plus three for the opcode. Nobody has ever named one payment it blocked. Not one.
The pull request to remove it, #32359, drew 418 thumbs down against 105 thumbs up in Core's own repository. Four to one against.
Peter Todd filed it. Then, on 4 May 2025, he said this in public:
"For the record, this pull-req wasn't my idea. I was asked to open it by an active Core dev because entities like Citrea are using unprunable outputs instead of OP_Return, due to the size limits."
Citrea is a company. It raised 14 million dollars in October 2024, led by Founders Fund. One of the investors in that round is Jameson Lopp, who posted "Concept ACK" on that pull request the day it opened.
Five days later the same change was filed again under a different number, #32406. The first one was closed. The second was merged on 9 June 2025, by a maintainer funded by Brink until 2024 and by Chaincode Labs in 2025.
@hodlonaut documents that Core development runs on roughly ten to fourteen million dollars a year, from Chaincode, Brink and Spiral, and that Brink alone funds three maintainers.
And now a corporate Consortium offers to look after โฟitcoin's security.
Do not take my word for any of it. Every number here is public. @ctdl21 published the whole investigation.
Satoshi built this to get us out from under that money system. Not to sell it a seat at the table. โฟitcoin was the exit. They are turning it into another wing of the same building.
BIP-110 is the plebs refusing, because Plebs want Bitcoin to be Bitcoin as Satoshi Nakamoto described it in his White Paper.

Meet the new guys behind Bitcoin Core.
"It's a big club, and you ain't in it." -- George Carlin
This is about as antithetical to Bitcoin's ethos as you can get.
The only way to fight this is for tens of thousands of individuals to run and use nodes with software prioritizing bitcoin as immutable money and mitigating everything else.
For point 3. I would highly recommend @miningrigrental instead of Braiins.
I'm testing it since a couple of weeks and works great

Last period of MASF for BIP110 begins in a couple hours.
If miners want to show any goodwill toward the community, this is (for a week) the final opportunity.
After that, it's a UASF.
Anyone whoโs watched Mr Robot knows exactly whatโs happening here
@cz_binance you literally sold everything for BTC
youโre supposed to be an OG, but youโre out here engagement farming like a basic influencer

You can have a misunderstanding of how the Bitcoin protocol works, but fear not, it will teach you as it has taught many others in the past.
BIP-110 IS THE WORD
If you can't feel the water simmering around you at this point, you're already cooked!

Today we're announcing the Bitcoin Security Consortium @BTCconsortium: a group of leading financial institutions and Bitcoin companies supporting the long-term security of the Bitcoin network.
Members have pledged $15 million toward this work over the next three years.
Following the footsteps of Core, where unilateral changes to defaults are acceptable, I decide a while ago to make Knots the default Bitcoin client on ParmanodLs.
