I started making a nom parser for my #LuaLang #ForthLang hybrid. Reading the docs I realize English does have the terms to talk about parsing. I spent half an hour trying to understand what it was saying then when it turned out to be dead simple. #TryingToExplainWaterToFish
#gamedev #ForthLang #LDJAM Got my map editor and sprite engine up and running in my new specially made engine. Just gotta integrate my existing sound and collision systems. Hopefully it'll be ready in time for the jam! If not it'll just have no sound and I'll use tile-movement.
