As an EXED teacher I not only interview my students often but I also interviewed their parents. And ever take a second to observe a kid at lunch or a sporting event?? That’s where I learn everything! #FundsOfKnowledgePL
A4 I feel that the relationship is the binding force b/t the content, pacing & the S’s success. Not every relationship may be as deep & binding but it must be there. Transfer of passion, overcoming fears, trial & error, those are the true pathways of learning #FundsOfKnowledgePL
A3 I think being a warm demander is essential to the relationship b/t the S & T. Having high expectations allows the relational & instructional strategies to come together as S success. Excuses/low expectations can tip the balance & lessen the S’s success #FundsOfKnowledgePL
A2 Great quest, I know I need help w/ this. I would like to find an accountability partner. I think I know (past exp) what to say, do, & act but w/ current events & social media, I have no clue. I need support if I want to truly be a positive change agent. #FundsOfKnowledgePL
A1 I feel it goes back to the adage “they’re not going to work with/for you until they know you care about them” When I build relationships w/ S I’m mindful that you can’t talk at them, you have to creat exp, share your exp, be open & honest #courageous #FundsOfKnowledgePL

@HSHS_Teachers @neesiebeeclary I think that challenges going falsehoods about what students can do is one of the true joys of teaching. Adding a layer of EIP is a way to enjoy teaching more! #FundsOfKnowledgePL

It finally dawned on me that the rigor and deeper learning will more than compensate for “lost” coverage time! #FundsOfKnowledgePL

Getting to know your students is not a waste of time, but creating a foundation for learning! #FundsOfKnowledgePL
A4: If you really know your students, you can start to expand their level of rigor. Start with where they are at and add on as their minds expand. Zarretta Hammond explains it a lot better than I do in her discussion with @jimknight99😆 #FundsOfKnowledgePL
