Claiming that “Somaliland people don’t have an identity crisis, but Somalia does because it lacks written history unlike Somaliland’s rich, several-millennia-long heritage” is fake and there is no such thing called Somaliland history or Identity, your conclusion is not only historically inaccurate but also intellectually weak. Somali history, wether is from North or South have same history, culture, and identity long predate modern political boundaries, and written documentation exists across multiple regions through Arabic manuscripts, oral historiography, poetry, and recorded scholarship. Reducing identity to selective historical narratives ignores the shared heritage of the Somali people and turns history into a political talking point rather than a serious academic discussion.
