#GodIsAMatchMaker #SeekGodForMarriage Or I will probably just leave the book "GOD IS A MATCHMAKER by Derek Prince" posted here for as long as Twitter exists. I did really intend to be off Twitter through March 15th, seeking God about the issue. I will continue. I will post an update about what the Lord has been teaching me and showing me. I intend to remain in God's will regardless of what happens. I realized while praying today that while God makes promises [Isaiah 43:2], our trust in His ability to fulfill those promises should not come off as binding God [Daniel 3:16-20]. It is rather throwing ourselves under His care and knowing well that if He sees it fit to promise, then He will see it fit to fulfill. So, we should remain in His will, whatever He decides that will is. That's what I plan to do. The temptation is intense to think of doing my own thing, independent of the voice and eye of God. I could easily find someone I like in 1 month, without having to stress out over all of these things. But I realized that this whole thing is more about testing my faith than giving me a wife for marriage. In my file on these plans where I am strategizing for spiritual warfare I wrote this in the diary: ⚫Do I believe in spiritual gifts ? And did this dream really happen ? ⚫If God gave me a prophecy would I share it ? ⚫If the fulfillment of a prophecy delayed would I fold or give up ? ⚫If the person concerned by the prophecy tries to date someone else would I give up ? ⚫If the prophecy delays, would I take the easy route and date someone else based on the ideals human nature normally tries to seek such as beauty, financial accomplishments, education, or matching interests- and avoid the tricky parts of GOD TOLD ME in the future. ⚫Do I really believe in the power of prayer in spiritual warfare when God’s prophetic words are challenged? ⚫What about divine healing and the overall belief in the supernatural- if I lose in this battle- am I also willing to accept that some people who might not be healed in our Christian communities were meant to die ? We simply have no more power to make Psalms 103:3; Matthew 9:35; Matthew 12:15; Matthew 4:23; Exodus 15:26; Exodus 23:25; John 11:42; Romans 4:17; 2 Corinthians 1:20; and Hebrews 13:8 a reality for people than I have to fulfill the prophetic dream God gave me ? These divine healing Scriptures, again, bring into view, that it is not the spiritual gifts or God’s character being tested- it is my belief in Spiritual gifts and my own character being tested. Just because some people won’t get healed- it does not mean that the words we read in those Scriptures have passed away. The fact that millions of Christians are OKAY with having people die in their churches without miracles does not make it OKAY before God. Failed healings or premature deaths do not disprove the Word of God. Heaven and earth will pass away but no single promise of God will pass away. I believe this principle can be extrapolated to the prophetic dream I had to marry S.E
