Major milestone! Ecstatic! Did my 2 hour,4 airport solo. KHES-O69-KDVO-0Q9-KAPC-KHES. Healdsburg-Petaluma-Novato-Sonoma-Napa-Healdsburg. Good wind, haze made it challenging. @RamAviation1 #pipertomahawk #lifeinhealdsburg #gonnabeapilot #flyingsolo #sonomacountystrong #soloselfie
“Lets go see a sunset.” Says my CFI. Learned VOR navigation, instrument flying first time. Rewarded with a spin around a not-fogged in @pointreyes at sunset. This is incredible. This is stunning. #thisiswhywefly #gonnabeapilot #pipertomahawk @RamAviation1 #lookingforwhales
Another day, another flight lesson 😍Landing next to a jet at KAPC Napa. At the end of the video you can see I get the shorter left runway. So. Much. Fun. #lovethejourney #gonnabeapilot #pipertomahawk @RamAviation1
Felt good to be flying after month of travels, fires kept me away. View west to the fog through #petalumagap , the Pacific sunset. Props to my flight instructor who also takes excellent photos. #gonnabeapilot @RamAviation1 #sonomasunset @KarlTheFog #pipertomahawk #SonomaStrong
Adventure continues on a perfect Fall Day. Venturing to new airports, Petaluma O69, Napa KAPC. Great view of the Bay, south toward SF. Then a pilot’s view of KSTS, special to my flying heart. #gonnabeapilot #lovethejourney #pipertomahawk #lifeinhealdsburg #napacountyairport
