African Pioneer plc (LSE: AFP) has signed a transformative definitive agreement with global mining engineering group Xinhai to finance, engineer, construct and commission its Ongombo and Ongeama copper projects in Namibia, providing a clear pathway towards production. Xinhai will fund 100% of the agreed development milestones, from drilling and engineering through to mine construction and commissioning, while also investing £712,786 into African Pioneer through a share subscription at a premium to the prevailing market price, giving it an initial 10% stake in the company. The partnership centres on the Ongombo project, which hosts around 300,000 tonnes of contained copper plus gold by-products and sits just 30 kilometres from Windhoek with excellent infrastructure. The staged development programme is expected to cost around US$60 million and includes further drilling to expand resources at both Ongombo and the nearby Ongeama licence. Management believes combining African Pioneer’s copper assets with Xinhai’s global mine development expertise and financing capability significantly de-risks the project and accelerates its ambition of becoming a meaningful Namibian copper producer at a time of strong long-term demand for the metal.

#GREENX #GRX $GRX poinformowało dziś o rozpoczęciu prac terenowych na obszarze grenlandzkiego projektu #EleonoreNorth, które obejmą głównie pobieranie próbek na potrzeby wstępnego studium wykonalności. Pozornie może się wydawać, że takie "zbieranie kamyczków" jest eksploracją na wczesnoetapową. Sam tak sądziłem, nie doceniając początkowo tego projektu. Zmieniłem jednak swoje podejście, kiedy w grenlandzkich archiwach geologicznych online znalazłem historyczne Pre Feasibility Study oceniające i opisujące szczegółowo możliwość zbudowania tam niewielkiej kopalni. Odsyłam Was do mojego wpisu ze stycznia, którym rozpocząłem krótką nitkę o Eleonore North. Arktyka stawia wyzwania, to niepodważalny fakt, ale geologia daje tutaj możliwości w postaci wysokich zawartości minerałów i płytkiego zalegania - dlatego uwierzyłem, że to się może wszystko spinać. Eleonore North jest ciekawym side-story dla flagowego projektu #Tannenberg oraz europejskich złóż miedzi Kupferschiefer. Pozostaje czekać na wyniki prac.
Być może nie doceniłem potencjału realizowanego przez #GREENX #GRX $GRX na Grenlandii Projektu #EleonoreNorth. Okazuje się, że w grenlandzkich archiwach geologicznych można znaleźć Pre Feasibility Study oceniające i opisujące szczegółowo możliwość zbudowania tam niewielkiej kopalni, pozwalającej bardzo szybko rozpocząć wydobycie wolframu, z którego zyski można byłoby wykorzystać do dalszych prac poszukiwawczych powiększających bazę zasobową. Mamy tam mapę, plan kopalni, chronometraż przedsięwzięcia, założenia dotyczące systemu eksploatacji, przeróbki rudy, zatrudnienia, zaopatrzenia w media, kalkulacje ekonomiczne - krótko mówiąc poważny plan. W dodatku plan niezwykle ambitny, bo jak podkreślono "możliwe jest rozpoczęcie przeróbki rudy na poziomie pełnych zdolności produkcyjnych w około sześć miesięcy od rozpoczęcia fazy budowy, bądź w 18 miesięcy od rozpoczęcia przedsięwzięcia". Warto zauważyć, że dokumentacja ta dotyczy tylko części Projektu ELN jaką jest Obszar Margeries (Margeries North oraz Margeries South) - nie uwzględniono Obszaru Noa (który udokumentowano w 1986 roku, podczas gdy przedmiotowe PFS powstało w 1982 roku. GreenX Metals Limited (ASX/LSE: GRX) has commenced its 2026 field programme at the Eleonore North Project in East Greenland, targeting gold, tungsten and antimony across a portfolio of largely underexplored prospects. Work will focus on advancing the Noa Pluton gold-antimony target, collecting bulk samples from the North and South Margeries tungsten-antimony deposits for metallurgical test work and investigating newly identified hyperspectral anomalies that could represent additional mineralised zones. The programme will also assess several new intrusion-related gold targets generated from recent geological work.
