A New York deli owner’s program has raised over $587,000 to reward kids for good grades. Wail Alselwi, co-owner of Zack’s Finest Deli & Grocery in Staten Island, started ‘Grades for Grabs’ in 2023. Kids with an average of 90 or higher can get $100 and items from the store. He also rewards kids who improve their grades. Donations to a GoFundMe help fund the rewards. [🎥: @islandock1 ]
