@pieandbov It pains me to see that playing surface at Rugby park ..The plastic is awful ..To think when I worked there the playing surface was one of the best in Scotland .. # #grassnotplastic

Michael Gallup’s injury is another example of how dangerous field turf is for football players. Football should only be played on grass. That’s for every level. Players are more explosive now than they have ever been. These athletes need a surface that gives not grabs.

Most people underestimate how hot a synthetic sporting field can get on a warm spring or autumn day. Most said 40C is too hot, when synthetic turf can exceed 50C, 60C or even 70C. Sustainable sports field is natural grass #grassnotplastic
