We think that chardonnay is the unsung hero of our region. It is a wine that Kevin has enjoyed crafting for nearly 40 years and us #greywackers have loved experiencing the evolution of Marlborough Chardonnay.

It's been 5 years since the #greywackers produced a late harvest & it looks like '23 will be the welcome return.
Botrytis pinot gris was carefully hand-harvested, gently pressed & now settles in tank before being transferred to fermentation vessels.

Greywacke's final parcel of pinot noir is ready for pressing to barrel after fermenting on skins in tank. Patience is the name of the game now, as the wine will spend the better part of a year in barrel.

The latest edition of @dishmagnz has hit the shelves this week, naming Greywacke Pinot Gris 2019 amongst its top three New Zealand pinot gris.
The #greywackers were pretty chuffed with Dish's review, giving it 5 stars and a gold medal.

Recently we had the pleasure of co-hosting #MarlboroughPinotSafari alongside seven like-minded colleagues. It’s an event near & dear to the #greywackers as we believe that Marlborough's Southern Valleys are the ultimate regional subset for growing quality #pinotnoir
The classic Kiwi summer is playing hard-to-get, but the Greywacke grapevines are relishing the combination of sunny fine days interspersed with rainy spells.
We look forward to the onset of verasion and the arrival of harvest 2023.
