This may be true. But please do not conflate Guru's Sikhi & #Gurmat with what the Jutt dominated Khalsa did after the 10th Guru. Reality is that when 200,000 Maratha Pilgrims were under siege near Panipat, the Sikhs did not show up to break the siege. After the pilgrims were captured they raided Abdali's camps and rescue people. And thats how they saved Hindus.

Very true. Sikhs, from the moment the Sri Guru Singh Khalsa was born, fought and bled exclusively for their own sovereign Khalsa Raj-never as cannon fodder for any Hindu cause. It's long past time Hindus admitted that plainly, without the comforting delusions. What cuts deepest is what Sikhs actually did when they held power: instead of mirroring centuries of oppression or indulging in belated petty revenge, they ruled with genuine enlightenment and tolerance. That's the distinction no amount of revisionism can erase.
