🇬🇷 Epic Moment in Piraeus: Divers Unfurl a Giant 180m² Greek Flag Across the Sea! The waters of Piraeus turned into a living tribute this March 25 as the Municipality commemorated the 1821 Greek Revolution with a breathtaking symbolic gesture. At exactly 12:00 noon in the Cove of Aphrodite (known locally as “Baikoutsi”), members of the Association of Greek Frogmen dived in and dramatically spread a massive 15x12 metre Greek flag across the surface. The huge 180 square metre flag floated proudly, visible from much of the Piraeus coastline and stirring pride among residents and visitors alike. A powerful reminder of Greece’s push for and achievement of independence, heroic naval struggles and unbreakable bond with the sea. 📷: The drone cowboy What a stunning way to honour our history! 🇬🇷🌊 Drop a 🔥 if this gave you chills and tag a proud Greek! #25March #GreekIndependence #Piraeus #HellenicPride
