If you can help boost this thread/post I'd appreciate it. Dad is home now & Medicare will pay for some home nursing. But the level of care he gets now is very important & he will have many expenses on top of the debts he has like for hearing aides & dentures.

Update on dad!
So good news overall I suppose. Medicare won't pay for any longer in the nursing facility, but they will still pay for some home nursing (we have to find out how long, he also gets an evaluation soon)...so he was discharged & is home w my sister now.

Dad has a GoFundMe here. If he passes, we will be homeless. If he (we're praying so...) lives significantly longer & requires home nursing it must all come out of pocket.
He's a veteran of war, nearly 30 yrs military & 30 as a PA civil servant...

Dad isn't doing great. He's in severe/end stage of COPD, but his oxygen levels are good. So he can still be helped if he responds to therapy.
His care now is crucial & we still have no idea how to confront his debt or my disability.
