Says "Cook’s campaign is all about ratepayers”
Yarraman Ward (Noble Park) candidate Ian Cook has been given unequivocal support from a former Greater Dandenong councillor.
Peter Brown, a former councillor now running in Keysborough Ward, says Cook has been “wronged” and is “entitled to justice”.
“Ian’s problems have resonated throughout Victoria. He’s been dudded by a lot of processes and people have understood that.”
“The real problem in my view is he is a person who has been wronged and he is entitled to justice,” Brown said.
“The guy is entitled to justice and he hasn’t had it, nor his employees."
Mr Brown said Ian was running to serve ratepayers and not as some form of retribution.

Two weeks ago the City of Greater Dandenong tried to have Ian Cook’s case against Council thrown out of court.
But the judge ruled against Council. So now, Council has announced it will appeal their lost appeal.
This will cost ratepayers tens of thousands of dollars more and will also force Ian Cook to spend even more money as he continues to fight for justice.
Under Victorian law, Council is meant to be what’s known as a "model litigant." That means Dandenong Council is meant to try and avoid court at all costs.
BUT DANDENONG COUNCIL IS DOING THE OPPOSITE.
Council have spent more than $3 million already in court, and they lost every time! They seem determined to send Ian broke so he has to give up and lose.
Please, don’t let that happen.
