The large circle brings the two figures together, while their opposing curves and near-symmetry create balance around the central vessel they are sharing. The repeated rectangles, and geometric patterns add structure and rhythm throughout the image.

The primary geometry is the S-curve formed by the figure and the flowing kimono, which guides the eye through the image. I reinforced that movement with rectangular artistic tessellation, geometric kimono motifs, and spiral forms in the flowers.

🔷 #ImageBreak Challenge — “Living Geometry”
Back to a new creative season at ImageBreak.
We hope everyone had a great summer, and we wish all artists and creators a very inspiring return. ✨
A shape can be more than a shape.
A circle can become a presence.
A triangle can define a landscape.
A cube can become architecture, character, monument or mystery.
For this new ImageBreak challenge, we invite all visual artists — traditional artists, AI creators, photographers, illustrators, 3D artists, collage artists and mixed-media creators — to explore geometry as the central force of an artwork.
🔹 Theme: “Living Geometry”
Create an artwork in which one or more geometric forms become essential to the image.
Your work can be abstract or figurative.
A geometric form might become the main subject, a character, a structure, a landscape, a symbolic object, or even the visual hero of the composition.
Circles, triangles, squares, cubes, spheres, polygons, lines, grids and more complex constructions are all welcome.
The goal is not simply to add geometric patterns to an image.
The geometry should have a reason to exist.
It should shape the composition, create tension, suggest movement, define space, carry meaning — or become the subject itself.
Minimal or complex.
Organic or precise.
Abstract or narrative.
Perfectly ordered or deliberately disrupted.
What matters is visual intent.

🗓️ Deadline: Sunday, September 6, 2026
🌟 Selected works will be featured on the ImageBreak challenge page.
The final selection will include short curatorial notes highlighting how each selected artist used geometry through composition, form, balance, tension, space or visual meaning.
🏆 Prizes:
🥇 1st Place — $20 in ImageBreak credits
🥈 2nd Place — $10 in ImageBreak credits
🥉 3rd Place — $5 in ImageBreak credits

What happens when perfect form encounters life?
A rigid geometry begins to swell, while the living world beneath it assumes a perfect circle.
Somewhere between order and organism, each begins becoming the other.
