In Japan, the landscape finds a different rhythm.
Mountains fade into the mist, a river crosses the valley and humid light softens every form.
Sometimes beauty lies in what is only barely visible.
Our planet is wonderful. Let’s admire it. Let’s protect it. 🌍

🔷 The “Living Geometry” Challenge has officially come to an end.
Throughout this challenge, geometry became much more than a visual system.
You turned circles, triangles, polygons, grids, cubes and impossible structures into characters, landscapes, architectures, symbols and abstract presences.
Some works used geometry to create perfect balance.
Others introduced distortion, repetition, fragmentation or tension.
Some shapes dominated the image like monuments.
Some became almost alive.
Others existed quietly inside compositions where a single line, angle or volume was enough to transform the entire visual space.
Across painting, photography, illustration, 3D, AI and mixed media, the strongest works shared one quality:
Geometry was not simply decoration.
It had a purpose.
It structured the image, carried an idea, created a visual rhythm or became the subject itself.
And before announcing the final selection, we want to say something more personal.
The level of participation in this challenge genuinely moved us.
At one point, “Living Geometry” could have been our last challenge.
So seeing so many of you take part, create, experiment and share your work with us meant more than you might imagine.
It was also incredibly special to see artists returning who have been participating in ImageBreak challenges since the very beginning.
Seeing familiar names alongside new ones reminded us why we started these challenges in the first place: to create a space for visual exploration, creative exchange and artists who simply enjoy making something together around an idea.
To those who have been here since the first challenges — we see you, we remember you, and we absolutely love having you with us. ❤️
And to everyone who joined more recently, thank you for becoming part of this creative community.
This challenge gave us a lot of joy.
Thank you to every artist who explored the brief with intention.

Thank you for showing us that geometry does not have to remain mathematical, rigid or silent.
A shape can become an atmosphere.
A structure can become a story.
And sometimes, a simple form can carry an entire image.

🔷 #ImageBreak Challenge — “Living Geometry”
Back to a new creative season at ImageBreak.
We hope everyone had a great summer, and we wish all artists and creators a very inspiring return. ✨
A shape can be more than a shape.
A circle can become a presence.
A triangle can define a landscape.
A cube can become architecture, character, monument or mystery.
For this new ImageBreak challenge, we invite all visual artists — traditional artists, AI creators, photographers, illustrators, 3D artists, collage artists and mixed-media creators — to explore geometry as the central force of an artwork.
🔹 Theme: “Living Geometry”
Create an artwork in which one or more geometric forms become essential to the image.
Your work can be abstract or figurative.
A geometric form might become the main subject, a character, a structure, a landscape, a symbolic object, or even the visual hero of the composition.
Circles, triangles, squares, cubes, spheres, polygons, lines, grids and more complex constructions are all welcome.
The goal is not simply to add geometric patterns to an image.
The geometry should have a reason to exist.
It should shape the composition, create tension, suggest movement, define space, carry meaning — or become the subject itself.
Minimal or complex.
Organic or precise.
Abstract or narrative.
Perfectly ordered or deliberately disrupted.
What matters is visual intent.

🗓️ Deadline: Sunday, September 6, 2026
🌟 Selected works will be featured on the ImageBreak challenge page.

A vibrant and complex abstract composition where the entanglement of geometric lines, circles, and rectangles creates a dynamic visual vortex. The interplay of perspectives and the richness of the chromatic palette give the work a striking kinetic energy and deep structural rigor.

A symmetrical and elegant composition where two female figures face each other around a chalice, united by a network of geometric lines and compartmentalized patterns. The balance of blue and golden tones, along with the rigor of the compartmentalized structure, gives the work a meditative atmosphere and remarkable formal refinement.
@and_so_it_goes A striking portrait where the tiled or geometric texture of the skin and clothing merges with traditional patterns. The rigor of the lines structures the facial features and the kimono, creating a captivating visual tension and timeless elegance in dark, copper tones.
A dreamlike and architectural composition where sleek geometric structures are set within a circular frame against a celestial background. The contrast between the rigorous lines, the softness of the clouds, and the winding path leading to the portal creates a striking visual poetry and remarkable balance.
An abstract and surrealist composition where the human figure is deconstructed and rearticulated through rigorous geometric patterns. The interaction between the sculptural hand, vertical lines, and checkerboards creates a sophisticated visual tension and captivating formal balance.
