Stopped at the garage, had to replace a bolt on the wing plow. We have a dedicated team who helps keep our trucks running behind the scenes. #indepsnow

Our blade is up right now as we travel on 24 Hwy, a @MoDOT_KC road. Kyle will keep the blade up until he gets to the Main/Level 1 streets he has been assigned. #indepsnow

Please don’t shovel, plow or blow snow into or across the street. It freezes into a large mass that is difficult to remove and can actually push a plow into opposing traffic. #indepsnow
Just heard a thank you driving down Apache. Driver appreciate your support and patience. They are working 12 hour shifts and this is the 13th snow/ice event this season. Everyone is ready for spring. #indepsnow

Lots of people out clearing driveways. Please use lights or wear bright/reflective clothing when walking, shoveling or blowing snow near the street -- ESPECIALLY AFTER DARK. #indepsnow
We are moving into the Susquehanna area from Salisbury. #indepsnow
Even snow plows struggle in the snow. Took us a bit to get over 24 HWY at Salisbury after stopping at the light. #indepsnow
Crews communicate via radio and phone as they are out and about. Because we have different size trucks, some are better able to treat different streets. The crews communicate amongst themselves and the main dispatch to cover the different street levels in each zone. #indepsnow
Kyle just finished the Zone 2, Level 1 streets. We will now move into Level 2 streets. These are Collector Streets that connect Level 1 roadways to residential streets. #indepsnow
