Last night, we responded to a retail theft in the area of Euclid Ave and Foothill Blvd; this was the 3rd reported theft at the same business in a matter of hours. The male and female suspects exited through an emergency exit and fled in their Camry, but were slightly slowed down when they crashed into a raised planter in the parking lot. Officers located the vehicle as is sped down Euclid Ave, failed to stop for a moment, then pulled over. As officers contacted the female driver (who is on probation for theft) and male passenger, the anti-theft devices in the back seat were still ringing 🤦‍♂️. All in all, the two stole $1,404 in merchandise and were booked for felony grand theft, conspiracy, possession of burglary tools, and their vehicle towed.
