Antique || ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Aiming for industry-leading growth with stable margins. ➔ICICI Prudential Life’s (#IPRU) 4QFY24 total APE grew 9.5% YoY to INR 36.2 bn (in-line) on an elevated base and grew by a solid ~27% YoY ex. one-off #sales of INR 4.5 bn in Mar’23. ➔FY24 VNB de-grew 19% YoY to INR 22.3 bn (five-year CAGR of 11%) with VNB #margin declining ~740 bps YoY to 24.6% (Antique’s est.: 26.1%) owing to the impact of an adverse business profile (1.5%), higher expenses/ operating assumption changes (4.1%), and #economic assumption changes (1.8%). ➔Going ahead, management is targeting APE growth ahead of the industry and VNB to grow in line with APE growth adjusted for product mix changes. ➔Factoring in the 4Q miss, we reduce our FY25–26 VNB #estimates by 3%–4% while we maintain our DCFbased TP of INR 710 which implies FY26E P/EV of 1.9x and P/VNB of 17x. #IPRU #Forecasting #insurance #InsuranceServices #Insurancebusiness #iciciprudentiallife #premiums #ICICIPrudential #Nifty #nseindia #bseindia #NSE

Listed parent entities should understand that their subsidiaries already conduct concalls & they can avoid repeating subsidiaries numbers? Would save time! Also the fact that subsidiary's mgt give guidance too in that concall!!
