💡 #ISMIO expert consensus on #TACE plus #immunotherapy-based systemic therapy for #HCC @ResearchKarger #LiverCancer 👉 Phase 3 RCTs improved PFS (HR 0.66-0.77), but no confirmed OS benefit (EMERALD-1 final OS HR 1.10, LEAP-012 interim OS not significant). 👉 Best candidates: BCLC-B or early-stage unsuitable for curative therapy, Child-Pugh A, ECOG 0/1, no extrahepatic spread. 👉 In BCLC-C, systemic therapy remains the backbone, with TACE added only in highly selected Vp1/2 cases.
