Welcome to my world.
Jungwon used to think Jay’s world was made of sharp suits and sharper words, but now, watching him working hard with a dozens people by his side, he finally saw it for what it was: lonely, tired, and quietly aching for someone to stay.

Under My Skin
Jay came home seething, his scent thick with frustration, filling every corner of their shared space. Jungwon felt it immediately, his omega instincts stirring and restless. He didn’t ask, didn’t push. He just stayed, pressing close, letting his presence speak for him.
But the air between them shifted, the tension coiled, heavy and unspoken. Jay’s grip tightened. His touch lingered. And somewhere between restraint and surrender, a line blurred.
Neither of them were sure who had crossed it first.

Scent of Trouble
.
.

The first time Jungwon received something, Jay didn’t think much of it.
It was just a small coffee left on his desk in class, a sticky note on the lid with a simple Enjoy! and a smiley face. Jungwon had frowned at it, looked around in confusion, then shrugged and took a sip.
The next time, it was a protein bar. Then a keychain—small, shaped like a cat. And for some reason, that one made Jungwon smile a little when he clipped it onto his bag.
Jay only noticed because it was rare for Jungwon to look so openly pleased over something so small. He didn’t mean to stare when Jungwon examined the keychain, flipping it between his fingers, lips quirking slightly at the edges. He also didn’t mean to feel something off in his chest when Jungwon started looking forward to these little surprises.
At first, he told himself it didn’t matter. Let Jungwon have his little admirer. What did it have to do with Jay?
But then Jungwon started getting snacks. And that was when Jay got petty. For no logical reason at all.
“Oh, was this yours?” Jay asked one evening, casually biting into a chocolate covered biscuit.
Jungwon, freshly showered and ready to enjoy his own snack, stopped in the doorway. “Are you serious?”
Jay glanced at the half eaten biscuit, then at Jungwon. “My bad.”
Jungwon groaned. “That was mine.”
Jay shrugged, licking a crumb off his thumb. “Looked unclaimed.”
“It was on my desk.” Jungwon hissed.
“Should’ve put your name on it.” Jay smirked.
Jungwon narrowed his eyes. “You don’t even like sweets.”
Jay didn’t look up. “Guess I do now.”
And that was how it started. Every time Jungwon got a new snack, Jay somehow ended up eating it first. If Jungwon put it in the fridge? Jay got to it before he could. If Jungwon left it in his room? Jay would pass by and oh-so-casually grab it on his way out.
Jungwon complained. A lot. But Jay never gave him an actual answer, and eventually, Jungwon just stopped bringing it up—though Jay noticed he started carrying some of the snacks with him instead.

Jungwon’s old dorm was a disaster, thanks to endless water leaks that made living there impossible. Moving to a new room felt like a fresh start. It was nice—spacious, with a big window and plenty of light.
The only problem was his roommate was an alpha.
Jungwon hated alphas. They were always cocky, annoying, and full of themselves.
Jay, however, was surprisingly polite and didn’t seem like the typical arrogant type. But Jungwon wasn’t fooled. Sooner or later, Jay would start acting up. And when that happened, Jungwon would be ready.

I’ve decided to make this into a series! So, literally it won’t ever end! The tag is gonna be #jaywonroommate hehehe
Happy jaywon day!
Jungwon had always hated strong scents. He hated how they clung to his senses, how they made his head feel heavy and his stomach churn. Alphas were the worst offenders, and Jay—his roommate—was no exception.
The first time Jungwon met him, he nearly gagged. Jay’s scent was intense, overwhelming, the kind that made Jungwon scowl and take a step back. It was warm, rich, something woodsy and clean with an underlying sharpness that should’ve been unbearable.
But lately… something had changed.
Jungwon didn’t know when it started or how it happened, but Jay’s scent no longer irritated him. It was still strong, still distinctly alpha, yet instead of making him recoil, it made his shoulders relax. It was comforting.
Jungwon found himself drifting closer without meaning to. He would stand next to Jay in the kitchen longer than necessary, pretending he was waiting for the coffee to brew when, really, he was just inhaling that stupid scent.
And now, somehow, he was here. Sitting on the couch, early in the morning, watching the news with Jay.
He never used to care about the news. He still didn’t, not really. But here he was, pretending to be interested in the anchor droning on about politics, when all he actually wanted was to sit close enough to Jay to breathe him in.
Jay shot him a glance over his coffee mug. “You into politics now?”
Jungwon blinked, then quickly shook his head. “No.”
Jay raised an eyebrow. “Then why are you watching this every morning? You used to sleep in.”
Jungwon panicked for a second. He couldn’t exactly say; oh, I just want to sit near you because your scent calms me down for some reason and I’m too confused to question it properly.
So instead, he shrugged, keeping his expression neutral. “Just because.”
Jay narrowed his eyes. “Just because?”
“Yeah.” Jungwon sipped his tea, acting as if this was a normal conversation and not something that was currently making his ears burn. “I wanna know what’s happening with the world.”
Jay hummed, unconvinced. “Uh-huh.”
Jungwon ignored him and kept his gaze fixed on the screen, pretending to listen to the reporter discussing stocks and economic shifts. The only thing he was really paying attention to, though, was the way Jay’s scent surrounded him, warm and steady, making his nerves settle in a way he couldn’t explain.
He really needed to figure out what the hell was happening to him.
It didn’t make sense. He should hate this. He should hate him. But instead, his body betrayed him, pulling him toward Jay like it was natural.
