Apps on Core are driving the real economic activity
App-level fees across @Coredao_Org over the last 30 days totaled $58.9K, while total base-chain gas fees were $274.
The applications earned about 215x more in fees than the chain itself. This indicates the actual utilization of DeFi and staking applications rather than gas.
In addition, chain fees were up 14.9% over the same period, which looks like a good sign despite the decline in TVL. Furthermore, daily activity remains high: ~8,755 users and 47,299 transactions were registered on August 13.
However, Core TVL is $4.35M, and the $CORE coin is priced at $0.019, well below its all-time high of $6.14 in 2023.

Even as the price of @Coredao_Org's $CORE token and TVL continue to slide, thereβs another set of data points suggesting something else might be happening under the hood.
One protocol in particular is taking the growth crown: @SumerMoney, which saw TVL grow by +501% over the last 30 days to $46,929.
