@kashbase ...The benefit of that mindset of optimising resources is evident in what they are able to achieve with the limited resources at their disposal. We can learn from them and be better off financially. #KashbaseTweetChat
@kashbase A8: Kashbase is my go to App in saving towards big ticket expenses/purchases e.g rent. I find the daily returns feature as such a positive incentive. #KashbaseTweetChat
@kashbase A7(ii). (b) I sometimes think of money not in actual amount BUT as a percentage, if I've committed to saving 15% of my monthly income then the more I earn, the more I save and vice-versa.. I hope these help the user #KashbaseTweetChat
@kashbase A6(ii): Individuals may therefore consider the specific jobs that align with their interest, competence and availability #KashbaseTweetChat
@kashbase A6(i): I don't think there is a generic answer to this. However, permit me to answer as one in the sciences who prefers jobs that can be done online. Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Digital Market, Book/Product Reviewer, collaborative writer.. #KashbaseTweetChat
@kashbase A5(iv): We may also leverage our circle of competent & trusted people to optimize skills and resources. I do not think it is a coincidence that many top companies we admire today were co-founded by more than one person. The keywords are trust & competence. #KashbaseTweetChat
@kashbase A5(iii) In addressing specifics, our core competence (painter, programmer, lawyer e.t.c) can be deployed in the side hustle - provided it doesn't conflict with the terms of contract for our primary employment #KashbaseTweetChat
@kashbase A5(ii): Even our favourite sport/movie stars who we know are heavily paid make a bulk of their money off their primary trade. The endorsements, sponsorships and brand ambassadorship in this case are side hustles #KashbaseTweetChat
@kashbase A5 (i): Whilst the term 'side hustle'might be new, I believe the concept has been around for long. We need look no further than most of our mothers who had/have a primary job and still own a shop or sell something #KashbaseTweetChat
@kashbase A4: I'm delighted to have us explore the ideas listed above in details. There are some expenses that are essential for survival, irrespective of how rich/poor an individual is (Abraham Maslow referred to them as psychological needs: Food, water, clothing e.t.c).#KashbaseTweetChat
@kashbase A3(iii): Prioritising relationships, improving competence or changing jobs and my absolute favourite which is having another stream of income, otherwise referred to as a 'side hustle'#KashbaseTweetChat
@kashbase A3 contd: Tons of books have been written about financial freedom, hence I won't take the 'aspire to perspire route'. From personal experience and observing those around me, below are a few things I've seen that really work #KashbaseTweetChat
@yhemmy238 @kashbase I like to think of money as friends, it is easier to keep the friends you already have (saving money) than making new friends (fresh income). It is also easier to make other friends through old friends (more money through investment) #KashbaseTweetChat
@Foluinspire Q2. We are all aspiring Dangotes' 😂
Everyone hopes to increase their income. However, with the current economic state, and high unemployment rate, how feasible is this?
#KashbaseTweetChat
@kashbase A2: As Burnaboy rightly puts it, (even) 'Dangote still dey find money', so I think it's only expected that 'aspiring Dangotes' are trying to really scale up their income. Summarily, virtually everyone I know wants to increase their earning potential. #KashbaseTweetChat
