The decision to #KeepRemoteAccess goes beyond #DisabilityRights. Attending meetings in-person is a huge barrier for parents, educators, & caregivers, most of whom can't take time off from day jobs (when most meetings are held)—but can call in & speak when their turn comes.

Requiring people to identify as disabled adds a barrier that makes it less likely for them to participate in Board of Supervisor meetings. Not everyone who identifies as disabled is comfortable sharing that publicly, either. #KeepRemoteAccess #ExpandDemocracy #DisabilityJustice
