This gives them the ability to not only cut-off money from any programs they decide to (government programs, veteran benefits, pensions) but the ability to access your personal finances. (They already attempted a funding freeze last week, which was only reversed by public outcry.) This, along with Trump's insane tariff wars is an attempt to financially cripple our economy, devalue all our 401Ks and investments (and driving people to Crypto), and further place our financial wealth in the hands of a very few. The final piece of this plan is the appointment of Russell Vought for OMB (Office of Management and Budget) Director. Vought is the architect of Project 2025 and this position would allow him to disregard Congress' will regarding the spending of our nation's money. ***This would be a complete seizing of our nation's economy. Indivisible is suggesting the following: - Showing up this Tuesday at the US Treasury Department in DC for a public show of opposition. - Showing up (not calling) at your congressperson's/representative's offices to demand they vote NO on Vought's nomination to OMB. - Talking to Republican voters who will not have any of this information if all they watch is Fox News. THIS IS A NON-PARTISAN, TIME-SENSITIVE NATIONAL EMERGENCY. In just two weeks, Trump and Musk have infiltrated our financial systems and are poised to decimate our programs to help the hungry and the poor and the elderly.
